Serial #6795, built in 1979, played VERY little since.
This one's a very clean example, fully reconditioned by our shop, no cracks and damage-free, and with new pads and corks. NO keys showed plating wear, so not necessary to send anything to Anderson for new nickel plate.Īll pads and corks are new, tan kid, from our shop in Wichita. The original nickel plated keywork is absolutely perfect. This is a clean and good example that sings with a glorious voice! Range is, as you can see in the photos, to low E-flat. We recommend this one for any serious player. No cracks to the wood, clean and solid original case, good Selmer C** French mouthpiece. The Leblanc model 420 ALTO I've posted today is the best model, came to us in good general condition, now wears all new pads and corks from our shop in Wichita. That gives this model a wonderfully rich lower register that's unlike anything made since.

The 500 LL is similar to the 400 series instruments, but the bore size is just a couple of millimeters wider. We don't see them often and yes, the design work was that of the late M.
